Established a secure and accessible Institutional Repository (IR) using DSpace for Asian University of Women. This platform serves as the central hub for the university's research output, theses, and faculty publications.

The Challenge

Need for a standardized, OAI-PMH compliant platform to preserve and showcase academic research while maintaining strict access policies.

Our Solution

Implemented DSpace with a custom XMLUI theme. We also integrated VuFind to allow users to search both the library catalog and the research repository from a single interface. Established clear institutional policies for metadata and digital preservation.
